Meet Dr. Greg Hergott

Greg Hergott, D.D.S., PhD., Dip. Ortho

“It is an honor and privilege to become involved in the lives of my patients. I get to know people on a personal level and make a difference in their life. Seeing them on a monthly basis allows me to really connect with them and there is truly no better feeling than seeing that beautiful, big smile the day the braces come off! I love that I am always finding out new things about their lives and interests. On a daily basis, my patients teach me about current events and what’s happening in the community.

“I have been practicing orthodontics since 1989 in a variety of locations in the GTA. During that time, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with other orthodontists and learn from them. I was originally inspired to enter the profession by my own orthodontist, Dr. Donald Woodside, who has recently passed away. Dr. Woodside was almost certainly the most widely recognized and highly regarded orthodontist in Canada. I was fortunate to be selected to work with him as a summer research student during my undergraduate dental education, as well as study under him at the University of Toronto.” – Dr. Greg Hergott
